Meet the Providers
Tim Hogan, MD
Dr. Timothy Hogan grew up in Queens, NY. He attended Columbia University, graduating in 1979 and New York University School of Medicine, graduating in 1983.
Dr. Hogan completed his Internship and Residency at Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Nassau Pediatric Society.
Joel Kahan, MD
Dr. Joel Kahan grew up in Far Rockaway. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Queens College, in 1969 and graduated Medical School at the University Autonoma of Guadalajara.
Dr. Kahan completed his Internship and Residency at Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center.
Deborah Millington-Capilupi, MD
Dr. Deborah Millington-Capilupi grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She attended Brooklyn College, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in 1985. She then went on to New York Medical College, graduating in 1989.
Dr. Millington-Capilupi completed her Internship and Residency at North Shore University Hospital in 1992. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics as well as the Nassau Pediatric Society.
Thomas Capilupi, MD
Dr. Thomas Capilupi grew up in New York. He attended Fordham University, graduating in 1983 with a Bachelors of Science. He then went on to New York Medical College, graduating in 1987.
Dr. Capilupi completed his Internship and Residency at North Shore University Hospital and has been practicing in Bayside and Plainview. He is a member of the Nassau Pediatric Society.
Office Policies
Welcome to the offices of the Children's Medical Group. We specialize in pediatric care from infancy through adolescence. Our doctors are Diplomats of the American Board of Pediatrics and Fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
The offices open at 8:00 AM Monday through Saturday to schedule appointments. Sunday location may vary to see emergent/urgent illness on a case by case basis.
Sick appointments are scheduled the same day as requested.
We look forward to sharing in the health and well being of your child. We are here to help guide and assist you as your child grows and develops. Please feel free to call with any questions that you have or schedule an appointment.
Should you feel your child needs immediate medical services when our offices are closed, it is always best to call the answering service first at (516) 674-1586 . Often, just simple advice is all that is necessary, and the child can easily be seen in the office during regular hours the next day. Of course, if you feel your child has a life-threatening emergency, then by all means call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room.
